How we use Slack.

Access: Everyone in the business

Slack is our primary tool for team collaboration, and staying connected—whether you're working in the office or remotely. From project discussions to company-wide announcements, Slack keeps communication streamlined and efficient.
To keep things organised, we use dedicated channels for different teams, projects, and topics. Use public channels for transparency, DMs for quick one-on-ones, and threads to keep conversations tidy. When working with clients or external partners, always follow our guidelines on external Slack channels and integrations. And remember—Slack is great for fast communication, but for important decisions, documentation, or anything requiring long-term reference, use email or project management tools.

Key company-wide channels

#general – for general announcements
#help – when you can’t find the answer in the handbook
#random – fun stuff unrelated to work
#lunchclub – lunch plans

Project & pitch channels

Please always name project and pitch/proposal channels as follows:
#XXXX-projectname (where XXXX is the Scoro project number)
#XXXX-projectname-pitch (where XXXX is the Scoro project number for the pitch)
