Fountain Pens are special writing instruments. Rather than being just an object that colors paper with your hand strokes, fountain pens provide a smooth, luxurious and exquisite writing experience.
With a history that goes back almost 200 years, fountain pens have been (and continue to this day) to be the tool of choice of some of humanity's most prolific authors.
The fountain pen ecosystem is so rich with colors and pen options that enthusiasts have (or will soon!) a small collection of pens and inks.
As an enthusiast myself, I find a special pleasure in draining, cleaning and re-inking a pen with a new color. I've tried different pen manufacturers, nib size and ink combos.
The experiences are sufficiently different that I've found it helpful to keep a log of my pen and ink pairings, making a note of my experiences along the way.
