Use Cases
We want to be able to handle the following use cases:
Leave a note/comment when editing a guide pointing to a specific object within that guide (e.g. “Please replace this video”)
Be able to reply to a note/comment that was left by someone else. Allow infinite replies.
Be able to tag other people within a note/comment
Marking a note/comment as resolved and hiding it
Show/Hide all notes/comments at once

You should think through things such as truncating long notes/comments, etc. This is meant to be a medium size project in terms of scoping/resourcing. Our size definitions are below:
Small: 1-2 Day, Single Engineer Project
Medium: 1-2 Week, Single or Multiple Engineer Project
Large: 2+ Week, Multiple Engineer Project
PRD for WorkRamp Collaboration
Administrators/Content Creators typically collaborate with others to build out a fully functional training guide. They want an easier way to collaborate with others as they build out a training.
Problem overview
WorkRamp customers are currently using emails, chat, and in-person communications to share progress and updates to the content building process, causing potential delays and quality concerns. They need a seamless building and collaboration process to avoid delays and misaligned messaging.
Target Audience & JBTD

As a Content Creator, I want to easily share the training to other creators and collaborators so that I can get immediate feedback on content.

As a Collaborator, I want to receive an invitation to collaborate on a guide so that I can provide feedback directly in the workspace.
Goals & Success
Understand if collaboration feature positively impacts product stickiness.
(Supporting KPIS: time to implement training and guide completion rate)
Increase Adoption: # of new collaborators invited by “Share
Retention: avg # of comments left by each users, # of users leaving more than one comment
Increase Task Success: time to implement training is increase by X, guide completion rate is increase by X
Risks/Trade-offs
Adding new “Share” CTA can confuse current users that are sticky to the preview placeholder to review their guides.
Solution
Key features
Create a clear CTA for Content Creators to easily “Share” trainings to other creators and collaborators
Provide a “Comments” tab next to the current Notifications to encourage collaboration to Show/Hide all notes/comments at once. While “Notifications” acts as setting that notify users on other activities such as invitation, completion of guides, announcements etc.
