Welcome to Graviton
Welcome to Graviton Advisors, a federal growth advisory firm that helps small and mid-size government contractors scale from less than $1 million to $30–50 million+ in federal revenue.
Graviton was built to fill a gap in the federal contracting world — where most small businesses chase contracts without a clear growth strategy. Our mission is to change that. We guide founders and executives to think like investors, operate like platforms, and scale with intention.
This handbook is designed to help every new team member and contractor understand who we are, what we do, and how we operate. Our goal is to ensure that from day one, you see how each project, client, and deliverable connects to our broader mission of transforming the way small contractors grow in the federal space.
Our Mission
To transform small and mid-size federal contractors into scalable, acquisition-ready growth platforms through data-driven strategy, disciplined execution, and market clarity.
Message from Theodore
“Graviton isn’t just another consultancy. Our passion is to truly help founders build formidable companies that will withstand the test of time.
We’re builders — of systems, growth engines, and trust.
Every engagement is an opportunity to transform how a company approaches the federal market.
Our mission is for every client to walk away saying the experience far exceeded their expectations —
both in insight and in impact. Welcome to the team.”
What Is Graviton & The Market Challenge
What Is Graviton
Graviton Advisors is a federal growth platform builder — not a proposal shop, a BD vendor, or a capture consultant. We work as a strategic partner to small and mid-size government contractors who want to grow beyond reactive bidding and into structured, sustainable federal revenue.
We blend private-equity discipline, market intelligence, and federal business development expertise to help clients build long-term enterprise value, not just chase contracts.
The Challenge
Most small federal contractors fail to scale — not because they lack capability, but because they lack clarity and structure. The federal market is fragmented, opaque, and competitive. Small businesses often:
Rely on inconsistent proposal chasing instead of defined growth systems. Struggle to identify where the true buying demand is across agencies. Operate without visibility into buyer behavior or procurement data. Depend on a few relationships or set-aside programs (like 8(a)) that expire before they can scale. Lack the internal BD infrastructure, systems, and rhythm needed to compete with established firms. These challenges create what we call the GovCon Growth Gap — where capable small businesses plateau at $2–5M in revenue because their growth strategy is reactive instead of data-driven.
How We Solve It
Graviton was created to close that gap.
We solve the structural barriers to federal growth through three integrated offerings:
Insight — uncovering real market demand through data (Mini Strategy). Strategy — translating that data into a roadmap and system (Federal Growth Roadmap). Execution — deploying the systems, tools, and discipline to make growth repeatable (Accelerate90). This system moves clients from chance to control, turning government contracting into a predictable, scalable growth channel.
By combining advisory, data intelligence, and BD enablement, Graviton helps clients stop acting like vendors and start operating like platforms — positioning them for longevity, valuation growth, and federal dominance.
The Graviton Growth System
Graviton’s growth model is built on a proven three-stage system designed to take a company from federal uncertainty to predictable growth and scalability. Each stage serves a distinct purpose — together, they form the foundation of how Graviton helps clients grow.
Mini Strategy — Discovery and validation. Full Strategy / Federal Growth Roadmap — Blueprint and direction. Accelerate90 — Execution and traction. This progression ensures we never operate from guesswork. We start with insight, build a data-backed plan, and then execute that plan through structured systems and consistent accountability.
