First meeting for the squad “Reco-perso”

Was present : DPM, HAPI, DCE

Was missing : Editorial, Data science

1st topic discussed : Similar to... lists. Proposition of requirements was made. HAPI will analyse this and go back to the squad in three weekds (22/03/2021)

General discussion about the recommendations initiatives inside CANAL+ :

HAPI : content similarity algorithm with the purpose of reconcilling same contents with different ids

DCE : content similarity algorithm with the purpose of predict success of a TVOD content

Opportunity : re-use and test these algorithms for recommendations purposes

Solution :

HAPI integrates a new algorithm

HAPI proposes two versions for recommendations

Via Bran, we test the two versions

Complexity : find the time to test R&D solutions
