These words lit up my Spirit, "The calling of the Twelve" is at hand.
Friends, do you remember the story when Yeshua feeds the 5000 in Luke 9? After he multiples the five loaves and two fish, do you remember how many baskets of bread were leftover?
There were Twelve.
Twelve is the biblical number for divine government. This is why the Father called forth 12 Tribes in Israel and 12 Apostles during the time of Messiah. But there is another use of the number 12 that is deeply prophetic.
Moses declared there were to be 12 loaves of bread "arranged before Yahweh regularly." (See Lev 24; Ex 25) These 12 loaves were set on the Golden Table and were commanded to be in the Lords Presence continually.
Friends, these 12 loaves were called the "Showbread" or "The Bread of the Presence" and they symbolized the Twelve tribes of Israel who are seated at Gods table and who live before Him continually.
My friends, we are the temple. And within us, God is setting up His Golden Table, and upon this table sits the very "Bread of the Presence."
As we journey with the Father today, he is raising us up as a temple of the Holy Spirit. And he is placing within us the "Bread of the Presence." He is doing this because when the famine of the word comes (Amos 8:11) we will not only have bread for ourselves but we will become the very bread the Father can distribute to His people scattered throughout the nations.
Today, may we live our lives as the Twelve loaves of Showbread, walking before the Fathers face continually. And may we access the Bread of Life stored deep within us, and may this become our sustenance during this intense time of preparation and consecration.
