PURPOSE

Highlight local campaigns to stop deforestation across the world

GOALS

Raise awareness for deforestation issues that are way undercovered in media and put pressure on institutions in those regions to stop deforestation

ACTIONS

1. DIGITAL STRIKE

We ask participants to create a sign, the focus being ‘#NoForestNoFuture’ stressing the importance of stopping the destruction of our world's precious forests. Feel free to embellish your sign with facts, quotes, or pictures–anything is alright as long as the core message is clear.

Do not forget to post on social media with #DigitalStrike, #NoForestNoFuture, and as many campaign hashtags as you can cover (linked below). Remember to tag @fff.digital (Instagram) or @fff_digital (Twitter) and your local group when posting the photo! We will be including everyone who posts their sign using the regional hashtag and tags @fff.digital or @fff_digital in our weekly collage!

We encourage participants to tag the friends, family, governments, or companies you think need to hear this message and when posting, post with a simple description of the photo for those who may have trouble viewing it.

We're also directly uplifting existing campaigns by our local groups such as Tweet Storms, email campaigns, etc. so we can help put more pressure on local institutions to protect the forest and the peoples living in the forests. Check out the individual campaigns for help on creating your sign and how you can help save each forest
