Logistical Checklist
Leave 5 minutes between each meeting so candidates have time to use the restroom, grab water, etc.
Create separate invites for interviewers and candidates.
Make sure the Zoom link is the same for both meetings!
Double check there aren't too many Zoom meetings running at once under one account.
Candidate Experience
Message the who, what, where, when, why, and how to the candidate for remote interviewing.
Schedule a 20 minute "coffee" chat that serves as an informal way for the candidate to learn more about your company.
Encourage interviewers to be extra friendly as this is via Zoom. Make eye contact, smile, leave your camera and microphone on.
Internal Experience
Message the who, what, where, when, why, and how to the company for remote interviewing.
Make sure interviewers are prepared to troubleshoot simple Zoom issues.
