Implementing Partner

Overview

The implementing partner is typically employed by a private company to conduct international development projects in partnership with USAID. The two main distinctions within this group are:
Implementing partners based in the DC-area who work more closely with USAID HQ.
Implementing partners working in the field with mission staff and other USAID staff in-country.

Key Traits

Very collaborative audience that builds relationships across different groups
Seeking highly specific information from USAID
Example 1: Gender analysis toolkits (probably from Genderlinks in the future)
Example 2: Regional case studies of international development projects similar to their own
Receptive to guidance from USAID HQ and mission counterparts
