The Border Sea

Savai’i, Guardians of the Atolls

Island dwellers, seafarers, fishermen and dextrous weavers, the Savai’i are a group of people linked by their respect for the Sea and all its inhabitants. Their insular (pun intended) nature and isolationism is warranted based on the dangers of the ocean, and the vicious menaces that sail on it.

Port Royal, den of pirates and corsairs

PortRoyal.jpg
Port Royal's outpost, where a no-weapons law is strongly enforced
Hidden deep behind traitorous reefs, roving armadas, restless waters and the occasional horror from the deep, lies Port Royal, home to all who want nothing to do with continental politics. Full of color, spice, legal and illegal trade, dangerous games and good food, what’s not to love ? Come down to Port Royal and leave your troubles behind, they have enough down here anyway.

The Shard Forest

Lingonberries, home of the Foresters

Lingonberry East, the smallest of the Lingonberries
The Frontier is the last bastion of civilisation before the Shard Forest, and all around it are the Lingonberries.
Four towns spread across the four cardinal points, in charge of training, housing, and burying the Foresters, a rag-tag group of adventurers that venture into the Shard Forest daily. They make sure nothing eldritch comes out and threaten the security of Calradia, and welcome anyone crazy enough to join them into their ranks.

The Shardwalkers, Remnants of the World Tree

landscapeofthorns.webp
Artist's Depiction of the outside of the Shard Forest
Amongst the twisted spires of the Shard Forest, and it’s dream-like flowery plains, lush forests, and putrid swamps, the Shardwalkers wander silently. Some of them were adventurers that grew restless, nobles that were lured by the promise of untold riches, zealots searching for their gods, or simply children that lost their way. Reality loses all meaning, time slips through your fingers, but one thing is sure: once you enter it, even death won’t stop you from roaming the Shard Forest.
