MMN 2025

Full title of project

Consolidating and scaling up Macedonian Mentoring Network, following the approval of an extension grant by A. S. Hornby and renewed support by Blaze Koneski Faculty of Philology.

Key objectives

• To grow the Macedonian Mentoring Network (MMN), an existing network of 43 primary and secondary school-based mentors, to become a group of 70+ school-based mentors.
• To promote wider participation in ELTAM MK by teachers who are looking to develop as mentors, as well as pre-service teachers (PSTs) seeking professional development. A group of approx. 30 PST will be mentored in this project, resulting in a total of approx. 110 participants in the project (43 old mentors, 40 new mentors and 30 PSTs).
• To share local expertise by providing opportunities for mentors to regularly meet to deepen their understanding of mentoring by discussing their mentoring practices, and to further develop their mentoring skills
• To strengthen the existing English language teacher association of North Macedonia (ELTAM MK) by continuing to grow its membership through the MMN SIG
