Bullying

Our implications for teachers... so far

provide unconditional positive regard so they can develop a sense of mattering - e.g. by getting them involved in teacher assistanty tasks

teach students about children's rights so there's clarity about what's considered acceptable behaviour

help (bullied) students process any traumatic experiences they have at school - e.g. through various forms of reflection

reassure bullied that it’s not their fault
