This week we primarily focused on making crash analysis for an M300 Crash. This was one of the most interesting assignments I think that we have done all year in this class. Learning how to find all of the different crash data from looking at the files on the drone and being able to extrapolate possible causes for the crash from that data was really interesting. I think that overall my group did a very good job working on that assignment I thought that it was a very fun and informative assignment. It was an assignment that made me use skills or do things that I could see myself doing in the real world at a job working on UAS. While I hope that I don’t have to use the skills I learned in this assignment for our upcoming beliver flights I think that knowing how to better asses crash data will allow me to prevent future crashes as well as have a better idea of the process for how to identify potential causes for said crashes.
Another cool thing that happened to me this week was that I was able to start violin lessons again. I hope that I can get good enough to join one of Purdues Orchestras next year.
