E-Portfolio Post 1

During this week I mainly focused on getting back into the swing of things with all of my new classes. In 219 we reviewed another groups Believer and tried to get feedback on what they could improve. In the following weeks the hope is that our Believer will be done and we will be ready to fly them some time in March. My other classes have also been going great and I’ve been able to get a head start on some of my classwork. I also, with the help of Ryan, was able to get my new fixed wing drone setup. I’m hoping to be able to fly it by early February if weather clears up. My hope is to use this to build up a good amount of flight hours before we fly the believer in class. The plane is a Cub PA-18 so it is a bush plane. This is nice as it will allow me to practice flying slower when their is less wind going over the control surfaces which will make flying the aircraft harder.
