On Monday there will be an introduction to Buddhism and Zen before the meditation.
On Tuesday a koan will be issued.

Exploring Pain

The Foxhole
Come and explore pain and many of the ways it can be used. There is a general idea that pain is unnatural and should be treated with medication, such as opioids. But pain doesn’t have to be unnatural, and it can have certain benefits, including things such as releasing endorphins that can produce a feeling of euphoria; pleasure; and being present. This workshop gives space for participants to explore and get in touch with how pain feels for them, and how it can have different expressions.
