Offline-first: Why should I still activate data from time to time
The EIDU Field App app generally works offline.
Offline: Stored locally
You can submit forms without data activated. When you do that the forms get stored on your device locally.
Connect to send it to the others
In order to send these forms to others, e.g., your EIDU officer, you need to activate data from time to time. After you activate your data, the latest submissions will be synchronized first to EIDU and afterwards to the field team that is allowed to see data for your school.
Syncing automatically
The app synchronizes every 15 minutes when you have data enabled.
Synchronizing manually
If you don’t want to keep your data activated all the time, do so once at least once towards the end of the day. Activate the data, and then tap on the Sync button in the EIDU Field App.
