A regular working week is 30-38 working hours, excluding travel time;The week starts with a weekly kick-off meeting with your coordinator and the youth workers.There will be preparation for the sessions 2 times a week;Mostly, the morning activities are in schools, and the afternoon activities are in the youth centers;You will have individual and group mentoring (On the last Monday of the month), and a training/technical day (On the first Monday of the month);Language learning and individual mentoring are part of the working schedule flexibility.

Activities
Egyesek Youth Association is a community of active youth and young professionals. The aim of our activities is that – we, young people – explore our own strengths and resources using them consciously to fulfill our personal and professional life. To reach that we do trainings and volunteer activities.
Where will you volunteer at?
1) Youth Centers
Working in the youth center involves supporting children and young people, many of whom have fewer opportunities or learning difficulties, through engaging daily activities. Volunteers help run programs like sports, cooking, dancing, and crafts while creating a safe and welcoming environment. They also assist with the day-to-day operations of the center, including opening, maintenance, and supporting staff. Overall, the role combines practical help with building positive relationships and encouraging participation.
Besides of the outreach youth work, volunteers are going to support the every day operation of Egyesek youth center. Volunteers are going to assist and deliver daily activities and also support the leader in the daily maintenance and opening.
2) Schools
Working in schools involves engaging students of different ages through interactive, non-formal English learning activities. Volunteers support language development while also encouraging social skills, openness, and cultural awareness. Activities are designed to be fun, dynamic, and participatory to keep students motivated. Overall, the role focuses on creating a positive learning environment beyond traditional teaching methods.

3) Elderly Home (optional)
Around 30 elderly people and 8 staff members. Sessions are once a week helping the elderly home in different ways: physical work, walking, handcraft, and cooking sessions, playing cards and chess.
