Overview:

SiteHike is a web crawling web application that provides SEO auditing, analytics, and task recommendations along with a built-in component to hire SEO experts and webmasters instantaneously.

Roles:

Gathered stakeholder requirements and project scope.

Performed a heuristics evaluation on the website.

Conducted market research on various competitors in the segment and used those along with the gaps from the heuristics evaluation as inspiration for the first iteration of a high-fidelity mockup.

Created a couple of extensive competitive analysis matrices to differentiate us from our competitors in terms of features as well as pricing plans.

Performed a SWOT Analysis to further analyze our competitors.

Conducted several stakeholder interviews to discuss changes to the existing business model backed by data from the research conducted.

Participated in a design sprint along with the design team to quickly build out the user flow of the product.

Prepared paper sketch wireframes for concept presentation.

Created high-fidelity mockups in Figma using the Layers design system.

Built an interactive prototype for the user flows on Figma that included transition animations.

Process:

This project was led by a product manager who I worked with on several stakeholder interviews for the requirement gathering process.

I was then tasked with performing a heuristics evaluation on the existing website and using those findings along with testing other competitors, I presented my findings on existing flaws and potential improvements.

I then went on to build two competitor analysis matrices: one based on features and the other on pricing plans.

Performed a SWOT Analysis to further my findings and then presented all those findings to the stakeholders in order to discuss a new pricing strategy.

After being approved, we proceeded to conduct a design sprint on Miro, and using the paper sketches from the design sprint, we went on to design our high-fidelity wireframes as well as an interactive prototype which was presented to the stakeholders.
