On July 27th 2021 at 8:00 pm CST we released a new version of the

Denim Social⁠

Publishing Solution. Below are the updates and fixes we made to the platform.

Highlights: Media Manager Permission | LinkedIn Expansion

Dashboard

Update: Adding Social network Feeds made easier.

Social Networks

Update: Ability to search for social network accounts.

LinkedIn Expansion

Update: LinkedIn users will receive fewer refresh notifications.

Update: LinkedIn character count increased to 3000 characters.

Update: Ability to add only LinkedIn Company/Showcase comments feed in their dashboard.

Update: Users are able to comment on posts on behalf of only their Company/Showcase pages.

Update: Ability to view only LinkedIn Company/Showcase page Insights in Details page.

Update: All users can Tag only LinkedIn Companies/Showcase pages.

Update: Users can view/export LinkedIn Company/Showcase insights in Social Performance Report.

Update: Users can view/export LinkedIn Company/Showcase posts with comments in the Social Media Posts Report.

Publishing

Compose

Update: Posts submitted as Post Now cannot be edited or deleted.

Fix: Users are able to schedule same day posts.

Fix: Twitter character count validation limits posting to Twitter with more than 280 characters.

Fix: Validation to limit posting 4 images to Twitter account.

Media:

Update: New Permission: Manage Media added for Admins to manage entire institutions media.

Update: Ability for only Admins to edit/delete media created by all users.

Update: Ability for Admins to share folders/media explicitly with selected users.

Update: All users can view/use the media they uploaded or media shared with them.

Fix: Uploaded media displays Uploaded Date/Time.

Content Library

Update: All users can search posts with new filter options.

Update: Ability to Sort and Search by Post ID.

Fix: All users can view link previews in the grid view.

Fix: “Copy Post” applies previous Approval unless Post is changed.

Fix: Email for Approval Subject Line changed to "A content library post requires approval".

Fix: Approval workflow is triggered when a post is edited.

Content Curation

Update: Display Collections from the newest article post to the oldest post

Posts

Update: Ability to sort posts and search by Post ID.

Update: Ability to view the "posted to" social networks in a post even after the social network is deleted/disabled.

Fix: Displays posts faster in Calendar

Fix: Posts with multiple URLs displays the correct preview

Listening

Fix: Search results display search terms with special characters like “&”

Reports:

Archive Report

Fix: Ability to view/export all the multiple images associated with a post.

Fix: Ability to view/export video posts link for selected social network.
