This guide provides an outline and set the expectations from travel and accommodations to health requirements due to COVID.
Pre-event COVID Requirements
We will be traveling with a number of elders and people who are immunocompromised. While the current (winter 2022) CDC guidelines are more permissible, it is important that wedding guests follow these requirements:
You must be fully vaccinated and/or boosted with the latest
You must have a negative COVID test taken within 24 hours of the event. Debbie will supply antigen tests on Saturday.
You must not display symptoms similar to COVID or influenza.
Dress Code / What to Pack
For those with housing accommodations, I ask that you dress formally during the tea ceremony and family photos. Other than that, you can wear whatever you desire for the rest of the stay.
For those joining us on Saturday only, dress in whatever you feel appropriate, but please take in consideration that you may be joining us in Catalina and/or door game activities. If you wish to bring another outfit, you are welcome to change in one of the Airbnbs.
*Please wear comfortable walking shoes, there are no cars on the island.
Weather Considerations
Average Temperatures: Expect 65 high 50 low
Average Precipitation: Catalina receives an average of 12 inches of precipitation a year, with January being the wettest month
