The Role:

We are looking for a curious, action-oriented Software Engineer Intern pursing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering. You will be involved in the architecture, design, implementation, verification and integration of the WayScript platform. WayScript is backed by world class investors and is experiencing significant momentum and hugely positive market feedback. If you want to have a material impact on an exciting and fast growing start-up, this role is for you.

You Will:

Work on the core WayScript application

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Participate in planning and restrospectives, project scoping, and other team discussions.

Incorporate engineering best practices, creative and fresh thinking to enhance our user experiences.

Requirements:

You have experience in one or more languages

You value code simplicity and performance

Pursing degree in computer science or equivalent experience

You want to work in a fast, high-growth startup environment that respects its engineers and customers

Bonus Points:

You have experience building web apps in Python and JavaScript

You are familiar with frameworks and systems like Flask, React, Kubernetes, Docker, Redis, Celery, Terraform, and AWS
