Respondus 4.0

Justification
Respondus 4.0 is a powerful piece of software for managing summative assessments and syncing them with the Learning Management System. This training will allow faculty to save time by managing and exporting quizzes, and generating useful tools such as quiz answer keys. This was identified as a need by the other IDs on the LCC eLearning team, as well as the Director of eLearning.

Learning Outcomes
Respondus makes several different products that work with D2L. You’ll learn the differences between Respondus Lockdown Browser (a test proctoring tool that works within D2L) and Respondus 4.0 (a separate piece of exam and quiz bank management software).
Sometimes installing new software can be intimidating or confusing. Respondus 4.0 has a few settings that need to be configured to work properly with D2L, but we’ll walk you though that step by step.
Creating paper copies of digital exams (including answer keys) and exporting quizzes and tests from D2L can sometimes be tricky and time consuming. You’ll learn how to make these tasks a breeze using Respondus 4.0.
But what if you need to get your quizzes or exams in to Respondus 4.0, to then import them into D2L?We’ve got you covered there too. We’ll show you how to properly format your documents and import them into Respondus 4.0, and upload them to D2L. It’s not as complicated as you might suspect.
