As a part of the Web Design Specialist part of my role, this goal involves several scaffolded pieces:
Become proficient in the content updating and management features of WordPress
Increase the redundancy and stability of the eLearning Resource Sites
Evaluate, and if necessary streamline and simplify the content update process
Document the code and page structure (including advanced topics like Shortcodes, test sites, and PHP to facilitate cross-training
Evaluate the current page structure and navigation for both instructor and student usability
These items lead up to the eventual goal of facilitating an eLearning Instructor & Student Resource site redesign if necessary at a future date. Wordpress proficiency is an ongoing process; other large projects are detailed in subpages.
