A lot of the information, I had previously had, so I didn't learn a ton, but if I was a new student this would be very clear.

Alot of the information provided in this training I already knew about.

Already took it onece, but an enforced refressher was nice I suppose.

Although I gained a large understanding and good expectation of how an online course through D2L will look and feel, I wish that there was a recomended time per week that should be spent per class credit hour.

As an older student, I do find that computers can be very confusing. There are a lot of tabs on the D2L learning that can make it very confusing.

Because I am returning for my second year at LCC and because most of my first year was buried under Covid restraints and online learning, I already had a pretty okay grasp of how to navigate D2L, but it was still very nice to have a refresher. And also I never actually noticed the back/next arrows at the bottom of the pages so I did learn some new things!

Being a first time college student and already dealing witht he anxiety of having to do everything online, it is nice to have the help to know the material and how to guide your way through everything. Not to mention, it is very relieving to know that there is always help when I need it, and where to get it.

Course was short and sweet, easy to follow and gave all the resources to help be successful.

D2L is a great way to learn, although I believe that the professors need to put more time into their work, my one professor posts one video that doesnt teach us anything and then hands out assignments and expects us to do them. Also the answers for the homework that are stated to be true are wrong and effects grades.

Despite learning D2L on the fly over the summer and feeling I have mastered it bc I passed with a high GPA, I still learned something from this tutorial. I have ADHD and sometimes find it hard to focus if a guide provides too much or too little information, an issue I did not have with your guide. Very well designed and structured, thank you!

Having options to speed up the videos that explained the different departments would be super helpful! My brain processes information very quickly and when a video is too slow I have a much harder time taking in the information and not zoning out.

I am a non-traditional student (over age 50). Most students shown in these videos and scenarios were more of the typical college age. For the sake of inclusivity, it would be nice to see myself represented or referenced somewhere. Also, my demographic is the one that might particularly need the updating and help with the online learning! I liked knowing about all the resources there are so if I get stuck I will know where to go to access information and help.

I did find the videos helpful. I just have to get used to the different online formats and the different apps.

I did not have access to these courses until 081921 which was same date of term start date. As a returning student after many years, it would have been better to make the course access earlier. I contacted LCC's Help Desk and they confirmed not available until 081921.

I did not know about this course when I re-enrolled in LCC back in January of 2020, but I wish I did. It was very intuitive and easy to navigate. I learned a couple new tricks I did not know before.

I don't have any other thoughts. I have used online learning through D2L and found this to be helpful information especially for new students. The unfortunate reality of some of the videos is that it will be a little while before full availability of the services become available to us again, but overall, I thought the information provided was great.

I don't think this training was necessary for all students as many of us already understand what is expected of us as online students.

I enjoy the integration of technology. I hope it is very streamlined and not jumping around and opening multiple windows and informationals, in a non-stop fashion, to complete assignments.

I have taken online courses before and have had classes use D2L for assignments, discussions, lectures and much more before. This training isn't nessessary for all students. This should be recommended for students new to online learning and D2L, but maybe not manditory. This course took away pressious time I could have been studying for my other classes, or spending time with my son.

I need to figure out which browser is the best to use. I was unable to view some of the videos because of my cookie settings. I switched them, and still no dice. Maybe at the beginning there could be a bolder message on what browser to use to best navigate all of the training tutorial videos. Otherwise it was great, and thank you!

I noticed that I had already learned a lot of these things from orientation, but overall this was a great tool!

I now have a much better underdstanding how D2L works and feel more preapred to take this online course.

I only disagreed to having learned things because I already knew pretty much all of this. I did this training before and was required to retake it for a class.

I training is a good start

I was a Transfer student and I already knew how to use it, so I thought it was a waste of time.

I was glad it was quick and easy but still helped me understand the program.

I was required to take this and found it extremely irritating. I have taken online classes before and know how to use d2l

I was surprised that the material did not show how to navigate real time on-line classes. I found that resource by accident.

I wish there was a video to explain Webconnect or what we do to join our class when it starts. I plan on calling tommorow just to make sure I'm doing that correctly. Everything else was great and helpful and they people answering the phones at LCC are very helpful and nice as well.

I'm an "Old Boomer." The last time I did a lot of computer work was in the 80's with Lotus 1-2-3. I really appreciated the training and will understand more over time as I use the system, but you may hear from me more than you would like to asking asking questions that you think anyone should know. I'm thankful for explanation of all the resources available. Gives me a little relief as someone who is returning to school after many years to know that I have a lot of resources to help guide me.

I've already taken online classes, and used D2L at LCC. This was redundant.
