On Free(mium sources): many of these data sources are based on user reported data or are public surveys that don’t give a lot of granular information.
captured it perfectly: “free comp data always comes with a "shadow" price. which most of the time is accuracy.”
My recommendation is to defer to subscription/account based services but to refer to these for general grounding.
