Meetings are for:

Check in & check up - accountability, diagnostic, wins, needs, supports
Collaboration
problem solving
creating together
Connection
social
support

Meetings are not for:

“Talking at” people ex. diatribes (all mtgs need to be interactive)

Pre-Meeting

What is Aim, purpose of meeting?
Send out Agenda
Announcement and Calendar invite 3 weeks ahead
Follow up confirms 1 week ahead and week of

During Meeting

Team Check in (”how are you doing?” “how are we doing?”)
Discuss Puzzle, Hurdles
Seek alternative perspectives and feedback, even disagreement
Decisions to make together?
Deliverables we need by next deadline
Action items and Assigned to who and due by when
Team Check out (”what are you working on?” “how can we support you?”)

Post Meeting

Follow up email with meeting notes, action items, deadlines
How will leadership provide support and accountability to help team win
