One-Off Donations

UNDER 45 - CLOSE ONE-OFF

Most people say they do lots of monthly donations, i’m sure you’re the same! We are not actually looking for that today. We are actually just getting people involved to help with a one off gift, so its not a long term commitment.

My goal is to raise £2000 this week so I’ve raised X amount (Show your tablet)

What do you think is the highest amount we have ever got for this campaign? We have received two thousand from one person! Do you want to break that record today?

But seriously, most people can’t do that, so they have agreed instead to help with £200, £100 or even £50 it’s not a lot but it all adds up when everybody comes together with as much as possible, it makes a massive massive difference!

I’m sure just like everybody else we can count on your support too right?

Tips for making a one-off donation

Don’t generate a QR code until the following have all been done:

The supporter confirms the amount they will donate as a one-off payment

They know how they are going to pay- whether its Google pay, Apple pay or typing in their bank details manually- also an option to scan the card instead of typing it out manually

Where possible/necessary- if they need to verify the purchase on their mobile banking app- get them to select OTP. What that will do is give them a one time passcode so they can verify it instead of going through the mobile banking app- which can sometimes be a bit temperamental

Don’t proceed until you see ‘Thank you for your support’ on their phone
