Bio:
As Senior Manager of Analytics, Strategy & Operations at VMware, Gilbert leads the metrics and analytics efforts for Global Marketing at VMware. Previously, Gilbert headed the FP&A and analytics team at Nexenta Systems, an open-source software defined storage start-up. At Nexenta, he was responsible for forecasting, planning, modeling, performance measurement and VC fundraising. Gilbert was also the Director of Programs and Business Development at appbackr, an Android app discovery platform that also provided alternative fundraising options via app pre-sales. Finally, Gilbert was a Senior consultant focused on financial and economic consulting at Cornerstone Research.
