It's time for Feuding Families!
This doc is meant to power a game of
Feuding Families
for you to enjoy, especially remotely! Haven't played before? Skip over to
to read how to play.

This section describes how the doc is built and how it should be used.

Playing the game (for contestants)

Playing the game is easy! Simply head on over to
and hang out. There, you'll find the current category & information on the current round, the Survey Board, and the scoreboard.

When it's your turn to face off, be quick and press your team's button as soon as you have a response!

The host will do the rest for you (except playing, of course).

Running the game (for Harvey Host)

We know you've got a lot on your mind, since you're in front of the camera and have to be charming and engaged the whole time. We've made this as easy as possible for you (but we assume you're familiar with the rules). Head over to
to run the game.

All of the following fields will update on the players' view as soon as you update them, so be careful!
Current category:
the category in play. The number at the beginning is the number of responses, so you don't have to remember and can know before you click.
shows when the players have pressed the "buzzer" button. This is used to determine who buzzes first in face-off rounds. You can safely delete rows from this table after you've resolved each face-off round. Alternately you can have players yell it out.
Face-off checkbox:
activates the buzzers. Make sure this is checked TRUE when you are in face-off, or your players will not be able to buzz!
Active team:
the team that is running the round. Update this when a team wins the face-off rounds.
the number of times a team has gotten an answer incorrect.
Current board:
this shows you all the responses to the category selected, and allows you to reveal them or mark them as correct. When a contestant gets a response correct, check "reveal" and "correct". When you're revealing the response at the end of the round, only mark "reveal".
View the teams, their members, and the score! Use this to keep track of turn order as well.
Winning team:
Use the green button to assign the points to the winning team. Remember only the points that were correctly guessed will be given!
That's it!
