Operations in Qatar
With Tintra’s focus very firmly on serving customers within the African continent and Middle East from the Qatar hub, over time we envisage this being a 70-90 person operation with a launch team of 16.
It is therefore, absolutely the intention of Tintra to build a core banking operations hub in Qatar, fully serviced by key compliance, operations, finance, customer management, HR and IT roles that you would expect in such a hub. We envisage stage one being very expatriate orientated in the running of the QFC entity so that we can implement the high-level requirement that we are having to meet in London and the United States then folding in local staff and training them to that standard.
Tintra is conscience of the need to employ personnel with substantial know-how and market experience to manage its operations on the ground in Qatar. Tintra therefore intends to take a hands-on approach to deploy personnel on the ground to enable the QFC entity to deal with any concerns directly without interference from the London headquarters. To this regard, please find attached job descriptions of some key people we currently have in London, for all intents and purposes, Tintra shall employ senior management individuals of similar or higher experience who shall operate on a full-time basis in the State of Qatar.
With this move to local recruitment of key leadership and operational personnel we hope to provide better regionally focused services which are appropriate to service the opportunities we are seeking to satisfy.
