We designed and implemented an end-to-end data pipeline, integrating Klaviyo email marketing data through Hevo into an AWS Redshift data warehouse. Our client was facing critical challenges: understanding key revenue drivers, evaluating agent performance, and lacking data management standards. The CTO, with a small team of 1, was lacking a Chief Data Officer, leading to inefficiencies in data reporting and decision-making.
We supported the CTO by strengthening their data infrastructure and improving data capabilities for strategic growth. First, we conducted a Data Quality Audit that uncovered significant issues undermining data accuracy. Resolving these was essential to move forward.
Next, we built custom data models and algorithms within the client’s MS SQL Server to streamline financial reporting and enable complex analysis like Price Volume Mix. Once validated, we developed dynamic Tableau dashboards for the CTO, CFO, and investors, providing new insights into financials, agent productivity, and yield trends.

A client offering Dashboard-as-a-Service (DaaS) to the legal industry using insights from LeadDocket and Ring Central encountered multiple challenges. Not only were they facing inefficiencies with manually downloading and uploading CSV files due to budget constraints, but some critical data insights were also not available through the front-end interfaces of LeadDocket and Ring Central. This restricted their ability to offer comprehensive insights to their customers, further delaying real-time decision-making and limiting scalability.
Solutions
LazyAnalyst stepped in to build a custom data pipeline solution. During the Proof of Concept (PoC) phase, we manually imported LeadDocket data into Looker Studio via Google Sheets to quickly provide the client with key insights. Once this initial phase proved successful, we developed a bespoke data connector for LeadDocket, enabling direct data transfers to BigQuery. This setup not only automated the data ingestion process but also unlocked deeper data insights that were not accessible through the software’s front-end interfaces. The client could now run the connector independently for each new customer. We continued to monitor, maintain, and update both the connector infrastructure and the BigQuery views to ensure smooth operations.
Value
The custom-built solution transformed the client’s business, allowing them to onboard 20 new Dashboard-as-a-Service customers within the first year. The data pipeline eliminated manual processes, provided real-time access to data previously unavailable through LeadDocket and RingCentral’s front-end, and significantly improved the client’s ability to scale. This improved access allowed the client to capture previously hidden insights, such as deleted leads in LeadDocket, which were essential for more accurate reporting. Automatic database views are being created for new clients, reducing setup time and enabling faster onboarding. With SOC2-compliant storage of API keys, we ensured secure handling of sensitive information. Additionally, the system was designed to adapt quickly to new API updates, keeping the solution flexible and up to date with new requirements.

We assisted a major smart meter technology company in the United States, which was struggling with an inefficient system that processed millions of data rows daily into their business intelligence tool. After they experienced significant challenges with previous data consultants and firms, we successfully reduced their data storage from 1.5 billion rows to 240 million.
Additionally, we provided an effective solution to their issue of high-frequency updates paired with slow ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) runtime. Our ongoing responsibilities include auditing their datasets and flows, creating optimized data ETLs and dashboards, and managing a few of their external data engineer team members. Our work involves adding new custom API connections to DOMO, as well as overseeing their BigQuery database and its connections. Moreover, we established their documentation system from the ground up.

Shopify Reporting Done Better For A Fashion E-Commerce

Shopify reporting can be challenging for e-commerce companies. For a fashion brand, Corinna successfully extracted their data from Shopify and integrated it into the Domo reporting tool. Having access to the raw data outside of Shopify allowed us to generate reports that were unachievable within Shopify's front-end limitations. Ensuring that the sales numbers align with Shopify's existing reports necessitates advanced ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) skills, as Shopify's API has its complexities and pitfalls. Our client was a big British newspaper with a strong social media presence. They were interested in doing a sentiment analysis of their FB posts and comments.
Getting FB insights data out of FB is a very challenging task and usually requires a data integration expert. FB seems to have little interest in giving access to your own data when it comes to page & post insights (FB ads is a different issue altogether).
With the help of a data integration tool, we set up the collection of historical page & post insights. FB only allowed our client to see today's and yesterday's insights for some KPIs and measures. To collect historical data, we implemented a SQL Server database to host and organize the FB insights data. we programmed a sentiment analysis in R and visualized insights and analysis on a Tableau dashboard.
Our client can now adjust their FB post strategy promptly to cater to user sentiment.

We directed the output to our client’s SQL database and connected an interactive Tableau report that we had set up with their KPI requirements.
