The Conviction Fellowship is a community program for young builders who want to work on new things in AI. Openminded, force-of-nature young people are some of the most powerful forces in the world. We want to enable them with a just-as-powerful network.
While there are annual cohorts, we are building a lifelong network of AI innovators, with mentorship from the Conviction team, the Conviction family of companies and Conviction alums.
We are interested in convening young people that:
want to work at/intern at a leading, partner AI company (we will help place you) OR
are already working on a research problem or startup idea
We are accepting rolling applications until Sunday, January 29th, 2023 11:59PM PT. Applying earlier increases the probability you will be accepted. We will close applications if the cohort is filled ahead of January 29th. Video interviews will follow online applications.
All Fellows gather for a week with their cohort, and with the Conviction team, founders and executives in the Bay Area. Travel, accommodation and social events are covered. Visa assistance available.
What we’re looking for:
Applicants <= 25 years old with research, engineering, design or product backgrounds. A background in an area being remade with AI (e.g. comp bio, defense) also qualifies
Demonstrated history of building new things OR familiarity, research/coursework in AI
Entrepreneurial or creative spirit
Availability for a 4-day (Wed-Sun) trip to the Bay Area in June 2023
