Welcome! Below you will find some helpful information regarding your stay at Atlan:
VEHICLES: All vehicles need to be parked in the designated parking areas. The bus has one parking spot behind the bus. Any additional vehicles will need to park in the parking lot at Flying Pear. All forest camp and Fairy nest campers must park in the parking lot at Flying Pear.
WILDLIFE: There is an abundance of wildlife at Atlan. Please be respectful of their habitat and watch young children closely. Food and compost must be stored appropriately. Ticks are common in the area seasonally. Please check yourself and loved ones closely.
POISON OAK: There is a considerable amount of poison oak (“Medicine Oak”) on the land near the sides of trails and in the forest. Washing with Technu or Mean Green directly after exposure will limit spreading the toxic oil. Its oil can stay on clothing and objects for years and be further spread. It is recommended to keep contaminated clothing/shoes separate while at camp and on the way home.
PETS: No pets allowed to stay in the short term rentals. Pets are invited onsite for day-use only on leashes or contained. No dogs inside any of the buildings.
FIRE BAN: Due to the serious risk of fire in the dry Summer season in our region, a fire ban exists from June - October. During this time: no campfires, candles or smoking are permitted.
DRUGS & ALCOHOL: No drugs including alcohol please!
QUIET TIME: Please enjoy your music and any noise related activities between the hours of 8am - 10pm. Between 10pm - 8am please be mindful of our quiet hours: 10pm - 8am.
