Tasks to Complete

Interviews

Identify interviewees, schedule and complete interviews, render commentary and data gathered.
Expand on interview scripts – differentiate Token infrastructure “implementers” (“standards” creators) and their collection design “users”.

Analysis

Expand and Improve Spreadsheet(s) and complete entry of token characteristics and related data.
Add ICRC-1 and any other recent token system additions

Written Content and Illustrations

Define the organization of text and tables-oriented content as well as selected formats and prospective distribution channels and engagement mechanisms (distinguishing the scope, voice and content across grant report content, Medium articles, Tweets and other social media postings, memes, etc.)
Refine theinitial draft of introductory commentary text – and clarify the target scope and content for:
Written report(s), data and analysis for submission in satisfaction of grant
Timely, informative and actionable information and guidance for IC community regarding tokens and token standardization
Memes, Illustrations, Tweets and other posts or editorial articles (Medium, etc.) - Consider the desired reach, reception and impact.
More technical, research and development-oriented outputs – ideas, recommendations, advancements.
Construct summaries, matrices and annotated guides supporting informed selection among the available token systems
Reduce ambiguity for possible developers
Offer existing IC devs - concise way to learn about new or emerging alternatives
Summary/comparison tables, graphics., illustration
Prospective incoming developers - learn about the maturity of the IC ecosystem
Refine and finalize present spreadsheet and create additional matrices or illustrations to express:
Offer a look ahead as some kind of valuable aid to navigating “next steps” in the IC ecosystem.

Notes

Ideas to develop

Brief “time of day” to set some context for this discussion within the larger perspective of Motoko language, dfx and overall maturation process within the ecosystem – across research, innovation and standardization, industry awareness and perception and use-case discovery, fit, adoption and validation.
Center the “thesis”: surface the present state of the art and associated implications, challenges and opportunities – NOT to advocate or address any consensus toward one or another standard.
Outline the categories and identities of some notable players in token ecosystem – exchanges (Entrepot), Token systems most adopted and in-use, token collections, artists and creators, maybe some specific tokens notable for their creative vision, artistic merit or critical acclaim, monetary valuation, celebrity or industry player affiliations, etc. Reference current and regularly relied-on listings, repositories, indexes, etc. Relevant to the IC token ecosystem

Blockchain Heroes (

Originally presented on the WAX blockchain in Summer of 2020, Blockchain Heroes is a set of 50 superheroes inspired by real-world blockchain and crypto personalities. When the initial set was offered in August 2020, 12500 packs sold out in just 20 minutes! Since that time, the team has released two additional series, with the latter selling out in just 35 seconds. “Owning a Sir Singularity card in the future may entitle you to additional Blockchain Heroes drops or privileges! Do not sleep on acquiring this rare collectible “2 https://icscan.io/nft/collection/poyn6-dyaaa-aaaah-qcfzq-cai BTC Flower (EXT Token system): A Web3 enabled digital art exploration of established and internationally recognized urban street artis Ludo. Who expresses himself on supports of all kinds and sizes: walls, canvases, sculptures, boats. You can find his work in many cities such as Paris, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Bangkok, Tokyo, Rome, Milan, London, Zurich, Amsterdam, Paris. In early 2018, BTC Flower made its debut on the streets of Paris. An unusual kind of Ludo piece, sharing the same techno-flower chimera archetype, but with a different tone and style. R.I.P Banking System was an uplifting symbol framed with an elegantly simple message. There’s not a forced entanglement, but a genuine symbiosis of the natural and technical. Greenery keeps its original plant form with Bitcoin at its core, able to bloom from the remains of a failed Fiat system. A seed had been planted, if you will. BTC Flower is the digital version of the R.I.P Banking System art piece. It exists as an assortment of 2009 unique variations, the original plants that will spawn a garden commemorating accomplishments of the cryptosphere. y

Standards Development Process

Discussion of the generally accepted key elements in a standardization regime
The non-judgmental / unopinionated and factual over-arching narrative explicating emergence of tokens within the IC ecosystem.
Consider the nature, influence and implications of IC architecture, tokenomics, NNS / SNS infrastructure and social processes for tokens and tokenization on the IC
highlight ways that investment in standardization can aid industry maturation, market development and create valuable opportunities for learning and professional development for builders in the ecosystem.
Briefly offer a comparative summary of the emergence, operation and results of token standards process and standards development on Ethereum and other chains.
Reflect on or even speculate on significant “net-new” degrees of design freedom - entirely novel creative or functional possibilities derived of unique aspects of IC architecture - what NFT’s can evolve into generally and on the IC in particular
Reflect on how this could impact token standards development processes on IC
