I was well until everyone ... everyone showed up insanely late. I have been saying over and over again about being on time. It is hard because many my team seems to get pissed at leaders fast. I feel like they are going to think about quitting tonight.
If the quit they quit. I will be provided with new leaders. I have to believe that.
I also NEED to give away jobs to people. I did almost everything (games, announcements, sermon)
The room needs way more detail than it has in the past.
Do we sacrifice time in the auditorium for the youth room to look very nice for what we want.
Need to have Props for teaching to grab attention
Patience with the sermon and it “landing” it might not land for all of them. We want to hit at least 5 and let the rest build disciple-making relationships.
Honestly really frustated with myself. I was embarrassed honestly. I worked hard on that sermon and it was a big time topic that they needed.
I was frazzled hard at the get go and my heart was racing, Why? I think knowing I have to talk to them made me nervous and worrying that my friends will look at me different and that they won’t like me. I want them to serve with me, but I don't want to be taken advantage of then have more anxiety cuz I have to do everything. I am just angry.
