Facilitator commitment levels
Here is what we are looking for from Facilitators:
Monthly Heartbeat Events:
Before the event:
Let
@Organizer
s know what time you would like your facilitated session to be.
Optionally reach out to your network for those who might want to participate.
During the event:
Facilitate a 1 hour interactive session
Hang out and participate in other Heartbeat sessions
Biannual Weekend Cohorts:
Before the Weekend:
Submit a pre-recorded introduction video, or find a time to record it as an introduction
Set aside your availability for the Weekend & prepare a session
During the Weekend:
Facilitate 1 or more participatory sessions
Be there for one or more Teaming & Office Hour intervals.
Organizer commitment levels
Co-Organizers coordinate all in support of teams and our community vision. There are many specific roles that co-organizers can play (e.g. graphic design, website, community support, outreach, etc). Any time/energy you can give is appreciated, as are any contacts or signal boosts to relevant groups. So let us know your thoughts!
Here is what we are looking for from new Organizers:
Before the event:
Organizing at Monthly

Events:
Participating in most of the 4 weekly 1-hour coworking times in the month leading up to the Heartbeat
Completing some optional, consensual tasks during the coworking time, or at some other time.
Regular tasks here include getting commitment from Facilitators, onboarding Participants, working with Supporters, improving our
Organizing for a Biannual
@Weekend
Cohort:
Same tasks as for
@Heartbeat
, with meetings occurring in the 4 months leading up to the
@Weekend
.
During an event:
Optionally joining the opening livestream (e.g. )
Being present during the event & ensuring that everyone is Participating to optimal degree (e.g. that no one is unsure about how to Participate)
Key roles are to act as a host and/or point-of-contact to connect and sync participants and working groups
After an event:
Acquiring feedback from all roles.
Integrating insights from the event planning and follow-through for next time.
Maintaining contact with teams & individuals to keep our community integrated, active, and in line with values + vision.
