Disclaimer: Apart from Hannah Rochau’s assertion that docs are never finished, this doc was created on a tight schedule, with a hard deadline 📆. We’re pretty certain that some details (and possibly even some major quite large edge cases) may not function as intended. Feel free to use the to let us know of any glitches you might find. Merci vielmals, as the Swiss might say.
Here you can discuss the Business Model Canvas in greater detail. The focus is on individual Building Blocks, which can be examined for individual or combinations of the GAFAM Companies, allowing for interesting and productive discussions.
When you’ve critiqued and discussed the content provided, you can comment on individual items or on a summary view of the Building Block/ Business Model combination currently displayed. Any comments added here will appear in the Follow the Conversation section of the .
But you’re not limited to just discussing the existing content. You can Suggest additional Item to extend and enhance the models. Perhaps the world has moved on since the models were documented, perhaps the Business Models have been adjusted or re-aligned to address market or competitive conditions. This is your chance to be creative and to shine ✨.
Suggested additions - like all items here - can be voted upon. The dynamics of the voting can be view in the Participant Dashboard, but the Promotion functionality, whereby a suggestion becomes an official Workshop Addition is currently only available to the workshop moderator.
coda Insider Tip: The data structures supporting the Business Models and their presentation are to be found on the page. For an experienced user, they are relatively transparent and reasonably well documented. Feel free to add a company-specific Business Model or other relevant content.
Please be aware that there are two sets of controls driving the display of content in the table below. By default, the Moderator can decide which content is shown for all participants. The Moderator’s choice and the resulting exclusions are shown below. Each participant decide to override the Moderator’s Choice and can make their own selection for personal display. These changes do not effect other participants’ view of the Canvas.
If you’re confused because you can’t see what the moderator is referring to, please check that the override toggle, below, is switched off.
