Level 1: What is civics?

Answer: The study of the rights & duties of citizens. And how the government functions.

Level 2: Define citizen of the United States. Give an example of 1 right & duty of an American citizen.

Answer: Someone born in the US* or naturalized (not included: generalized, visa). Right →Freedom of speech* Responsibilities →paying taxes, following the law, voting

Level 3: Is voting more of a right or a responsibility? Explain.

Answer: "Both can be right because everyone can, but it's also a responsibility because everyone should.”

Level 4: “Please God, get me out of Social Studies →How?

Answer: Get elected, change the law, write to representatives for change, hire a lobbyist
