Trust, empathy, and vulnerability. When we spoke, Marcus mentioned that Cohere was founded on the principles of healing—grounded in mental health, introspection, and growth. I know first hand that there is a limit to what you can create when you haven’t resolved your trauma, when you haven’t committed to the (often, painful) process of self-discovery, and it is so energizing to find a community in Cohere that is fostered on these same principles of care.

Oh my gosh, so many!! The beauty of Web3, specifically in the DAO space, is that you get to have your hand in so many different pots—and all of these pots are inherently interconnected. Beyond my core role at Backdrop, essentially a social connective tissue between communities shaping community, I also lead the nodes teams at CabinDAO (which is how I initially connected with Marcus and Cohere!), am stewarding a super exciting project in curation and exhibition for Forefront, and am heavily involved in Protein and Radar—two communities that resonate so strongly with my own value set. I’ve also been working on my own non-profit, the publics., inspired by the indigenous culture of the gifting economy. We believe that human capital is a public good, and that intellectual property shouldn’t just be shared—it should be *gifted*. Our goals are lofty and ambitious, but the most paradigm shifting ideas (like Cohere!) should be.

I'm not sure yet. I need (and would like) to understand more about what you need/are looking for, especially with respect towards this initial Cohere Lab. Off the bat, the founder of Finca Morpho, Ticon (creating an open source value & agreements system for nomadic communities) seems like an important fit. I have a call with him early next week and will happily share contact info after. I have myriad names that come to mind in terms of building regenerative movements, but I'm not sure that's the most beneficial focus right now. My impression is building the credibility of this token's intention and the how's around execution/momentum, is first up. Feel free to send an email asking for any specific types of people/skillsets you want to bring in more of and I will happily share/connect you with whoever seems relevant.

I supported the Launch of Gemini's Crypto Back Credit Card, as well as the explosive growth of Nifty Gateway. I tried to setup a DEI initiative to support women and women of color founders in the crypto space, but it was not a priority for the firm.
