Create Copy Template

Within the platform, Addressable provides performance-tested copy templates as a dropdown selection. Once selected, you have the ability to make text edits and the option to save as a new copy template.
Optionally, you can build a custom copy template.

Create Custom Copy Template

To build a custom copy template for repeated use, following these instructions:
From the navigation, select Content > Copy

Merge variables pull in recipient data from the audience list:
{{greeting}} = Populates the first names of the recipients. Ex. 'Dear {{greeting}}' for homeowners Bob and Susan Price would result in 'Dear Bob and Susan.' We suggest starting all of your copy templates with "Hi {{greeting}}" to ensure your copy addresses the recipient properly.
{{site_city}} = The city of the property you are reaching out about
{{user_name}} = Populates the name associated with the account you are logged into
{{smart_number}} = Populates the Smart Number associated with the account you are logged into. The Smart Number must be included to enable lead tracking and receive a text message to your mobile with information we have about the caller (name, phone number, address, home value, equity, etc).
Important Note: All merge tags must include the double brackets.
Click Save
The new copy template will now be included as a dropdown selection when you create a mailing.

Create Custom Merge Tag

When you as a csv file, you have the option to create your own merge tag to use in a custom copy template.
