Objective

To guide the HR team or responsible personnel through the process of adding a Cherry Virtual Assistant as an international contractor in the Gusto payroll system.

Steps

Login to Gusto
Access the Gusto platform and enter your credentials to log in.
Navigate to Team Members
Go to "People" in the sidebar and click on "Team Members."
Initiate Adding a Team Member
Click the "Add a team member" button.
Select International Contractor Option
Click on "Add" in the "International Contractor" section.
Fill Out Contractor Information
Enter the following details:
Country: Philippines
First Name: [First Name of the Virtual Assistant]
Last Name: [Last Name of the Virtual Assistant]
Hire Date: [Hire Date]
Contractor Email: [Email Address of the Virtual Assistant]
Manager: Dhungjoo Kim
Wage Type: Hourly Rate
Hourly Rate: [Specify Rate]
Send Document
Click on "Send Document" to send the invitation to the Virtual Assistant.
Add Task for the New Contractor
After sending the invitation, click on "Add Task."
Fill Out Task Details
Enter the following details for the task:
Task Title: [Specify Title]
Description: [Specify Hours per Week]
Assign to: Dhungjoo Kim
Due Date: On Day 1
Check the box for "Add to international contractor."
Finalize Adding Task
Click on "Add Task" to complete the process.

Frequency

As needed, when adding new Cherry Virtual Assistants.

SOP Maintenance

Review and update this SOP annually or as changes occur in the Gusto platform or company policies.
