User Journey — CBP

I've used CBP as a baseline for the interactions and design exploration
Arrival at the Airport:
The traveler arrives at the airport and proceeds to the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) area.
The minimal design interface is unobtrusive, with subtle cues to guide the traveler.
Initial Interaction:
The traveler approaches the AI screening station.
The AI system detects the traveler’s presence and initiates interaction.
The interface displays a friendly greeting and instructions.
Emotional Assessment:
The traveler’s emotional state is assessed through voice analysis and facial recognition.
The AI system detects stress, anxiety, or other emotions.
If needed, the interface provides calming messages or prompts.
Gait Analysis:
As the traveler walks toward the checkpoint, the AI observes their gait.
Unusual patterns (e.g., nervousness, haste) trigger further assessment.
Document Verification:
The traveler presents their passport and other documents.
The AI verifies the authenticity of documents using advanced algorithms.
Minimal design elements ensure clarity and ease of use.
Customized Questions:
Based on emotional cues and gait analysis, the AI tailors questions.
The interface asks about travel purpose, duration, and other relevant details.
Responses are analyzed for consistency and truthfulness.
Risk Assessment:
The AI combines emotional data, gait analysis, and responses.
It assesses risk factors (e.g., deception, stress).
High-risk travelers receive additional scrutiny.
Decision Point:
The AI determines whether the traveler poses a risk.
If low risk, the traveler proceeds to baggage claim.
If high risk, they are directed to secondary screening.
Secondary Screening (if needed):
The traveler undergoes a more thorough check.
CBP officers intervene based on AI recommendations.
Minimal design elements maintain a calm atmosphere.
Final Clearance:
Once cleared, the traveler exits the screening area.
The AI interface displays a reassuring message.
CBP processes the traveler efficiently.
