Note: Scope of updates to course should be limited to changes that don’t require department approval. However, there are cases where this may happen.
Department approval is needed for:
Change of grade weights
Changes to exams related to time, number of questions, types of questions.
Book changes to text that is not on the master syllabus (however, this should be caught during the setup)
Adding/removing assignments, anything that would change the rigor of the course.
