From those visuals, I would like to share some of my favorite ones.
The conservation law
I strongly believe in this law, and I don’t think a better option exists here. We are all born, grow up, mature, and die with a given life account to use, and we can decide how to use it. Like your parent used to provide you with a budget daily, weekly, or monthly, you can pay all of it for the first things that you think of and spend the rest of the remaining time hungry. Or you can break it into smaller parts to pay for what you must have first and nice to have later. It’s all your choice, it’s your life.
But just to be mindful that the most important part is present, we cannot stay starving thinking about the best meal we can have at the end of the week and call it happiness. Just to make sure, you need to check your credit and be aware that it has a limitation. Either you save it so you can have something to use later, or you can find a way to increase your credit to adapt to your demand.
Take care of yourself
Physical health can sometimes be easier to sense when our body has a natural system trying to send the signal to us to take a rest and recover from physical health is going down. But mental health can be a different story. The word “burn-out,” from my understanding, is mainly talking about mental health when we are out of control and cannot ask our body to follow our orders anymore.
I love playing video games, so I normally think about game examples to make it easier to understand. Let's imagine you’re a character in a game, besides the special skills that only you can be able to use - like , and it always comes with Health Point (HP) and Mana. When your HP is low, you see it when you move slower, easier to get damaged. But when your mana is low, you’re still ok but not able to perform your skills. So let’s find a way to answer honestly the widespread question, “How are you today?” and be vulnerable to say “I’m not ok and I need to charge my battery”
