I drank freshly squeezed lemon juice. My picture says it all! My Bishop announced that photos for week 1 needed to be in by tomorrow, I hope I didn't miss a deadline then.
Ok so here we have a modernized Snow White. I went thrifting at value village and designed everything myself! I had the wig and eye contacts already so it worked out perfectly! It was the funnest thing to dress up as! I loved this challenge! And I now want to cosplay other charecters!
I posted part one of my costume but I was not sure if you could see my face so I thought I would post two parts. Yes I colored one of the eyes because ok me of my eye contacts broke. ☹️
Playing fortnite never gets old (been playing it for years and perfected the hobby over this pandemic!) with twin brothers - one on this monitor and one on the TV.
I am holding two German church song books written in 1883 but republished in 1920 and 1937. I am also sitting on a handmade chair that was my great grandfather's which is approx. 120 years old. (It was restored in 2017)
The oldest thing on my house is the china cabinet that has been passed down in my family to my mom. It was my great grandma's china cabinet. It is over 100 years old and it holds many many old pieces of fine china.
This was made by my great grandpa Young. He was a awesome carpenter and love build things for others. This is a “salt box" long time ago they would have these boxes in the kitchen to hold the salt while cooking. My great great grandma had one just like it in her kitchen that he used as example to make this one.
This was my great uncle's Cub Car when he was 8. My great great grandpa was really big into scouts as was my uncle. Our family now loves to make Cub cars just like he did.
My great grandma used to mail Bobbsey Twins books to my mom and she’s been collecting them for over 30 years. This is the oldest one we have, it’s over 100 years old.
My Mom has a China cabinet that is 99 years old from her Nagymama (Hungarian grandma). I like this old mountain lion pewter figurine that is more than 50 years old). It is from my Grandpa’s collection that we inherited.
This is a cool mountain goat figurine made of pewter. It’s pretty heavy and I rarely get to touch it as it is over 50 years old. It sits inside a 99 year old China cabinet along with a while set of animals. My Grandpa collected them so now we have them to enjoy.
One of the oldest things in my house is a pair of chairs from my Great Grandma Sommerfeldt's house. We think they are around 60-70 years old. We have them because it reminds us of our great grandparents, and the fun we had visiting their house.
Here I am with Steve, our stuffed armadillo my great grandma brought from Chile in 1975. Also in the picture is my great great great great grandpa Brigham Young sporting a BYU baseball cap. He loves armadillos too.
Dresser was bought in 1878 by my fourth great grandfather. It’s travelled back and forth the united states a few times and it is now in canada. And then the silver ladle was made in 1880, also from my fourth great grandfather.
The oldest thing in my house is my grandpa. We sort of had to keep him around because he has a little bit of sentimental value and we didn’t want to hurt his feelings by throwing him away.
The storm ponds of Beaumont, I love biking around them with my friends and watching all the different birds that show up (pelicans, ducks, geese, sparrows, swallows, Herron, egrets, and hawks.)
Going to the driving range with my Dad and brother , during covid not too many places are open so this was something we could get outside and do besides walks!! Lol
Family walk around our neighbourhood (not my 1st favourite place- but forgot to take a picture when I was at my favourite place- the basketball court at my school!)
My “New Home.” When I would run away from home, this is where I would go! I love this tree, it makes a great hideout, but my Mom always knew where to find me.
