Some definitions:

Atomic Statements: An “Atomic Statement” is a complete sentence that makes sense independent of the current context. For example, saying “is pretty well understood” is not an atomic statement, since outside of the current context it could be related to many things. Saying “Macroeconomics in the context of the Fed’s decision to raise interest rates is pretty well understood.” is an Atomic Statement.
Starburst: Starbursting is an ideation methodology that may generate new ideas or flesh out or more clearly define existing ideas. Starbursting uses a series of questions to help figure out what it is.
