General Tips

Catch all pokemon
Stardust and xp add up over time
Fast catch
Hold and drag either the berry or pokeball icon and throw your pokeball while holding
Once thrown, let go of icon and run
To maximize stardust, max out your go battle league everyday
Excellent throws are 1000 xp
You can earn hearts with your buddy and swap your buddy 20 times a day max to earn more hearts throughout the day
50 Pokecoins limit per day from gyms

Hatching Tips

Adventure sync is many times more efficient than hatching while having the app open
Max you can hatch with the app open is 0.17km/min which is rarely actually hit
Hatching with adventure sync only takes into account steps
Trick: put your phone in a long sock and shake the sock up and down for steps

Bag and Pokemon Storage

After a decent amount of pokemon storage, bag storage becomes way more useful
You will run out of pokeballs but you can always transfer more pokemon
Use tags to mark pokemon you might want to trade
Utilize search strings such as !4* (for not 4 stars) to transfer more easily
