How do I know that my funds are always protected?
Security
CoinDCX ensures top level security across the organization with regular ISO audits. It has got SOC2 and ISO:27001 certifications
Fund Management
CoinDCX never mingles its own fund with other clients funds and never trades with portfolio margined sub-accounts, infact portfolio margining feature does’t exist across subaccounts. All sub-accounts trade independently as CoinDCX just not manage it’s own funds but also manage accounts for other clients. You can always check the account mode using APIs.
Consumer Protection Fund
In case anything goes wrong operationally with CoinDCX, CoinDCX ensures the clients’ funds are always protected with Crypto Investors Protection Fund (CIPF). .
How does the trading operation look like?
CoinDCX provides you API keys and whitelists your machine’s IPs
You always trade with your own servers placed within the same cloud provider and region. CoinDCX doesn’t take any responsibility in terms of server’s security and reliability
Once you receive your funds in your target sub-account, you can trade whatever products you want to trade on the exchange e.g. Spot, Perpetuals, Options etc.
You can track all your order history, trade history, income history etc. with the APIs
How do crypto deposits and withdrawals happen?
For Deposits
We provide you with a deposit address which you can whitelist at your end
Once you deposit, then we transfer it to your designated subaccount
Please note there’ll be two on-chain hops in between
PLEASE DO NOT DIRECTLY DEPOSIT TO THE SUBACCOUNT
For Withdrawals
Once you wish to withdraw, we’ve to transfer it back to our master account and then transfer it to our nodal account
From Nodal account it gets transferred to your destination wallet
Please note there’ll be two on-chain hops in between
What if I own more than one subaccount?
While you own multiple subaccounts, you can always transfer the funds internally between multiple accounts
Which all exchange do you currently support?
Currently, we only support Bybit and OKX
Can I get historical data for backtesting?
Yes, that’s possible. Let us know what you need.
Does CoinDCX provide prop capital for trading?
Yes, but on case to case basis
Can I access Copper’s Clearloop solution with CoinDCX’s DMA?
Currently not. We’ve not integrated with Copper Clearloop.
How’s the latency across OKX and Bybit?
The latency across both the exchanges should be sub-10ms

How does the onboarding process look like?
Before we share the account credentials with you, you need to complete KYC with us
To complete the KYC, you’ve to share below documents with us
If the entity is a company,
Certificate of Incorporation
Resolution of the Board of Directors (Authorizing the opening of the account and specifying the authorized signatories)
Share Holding Pattern
TAX Identification Number
Identity Documents (Passport or Government Issued Identity Card)
Identity document of all UBO's
Identity document of at least 2 controlling Directors
Identity document of Authorized Signatory
If the entity is a partnership,
Partnership Registration Certificate
Partnership Deed
Evidence of Control (Register of Controlling partner who will be authorised signatory)
Share Holding Pattern
TAX Identification Number
Identity Documents (Passport or Government Issued Identity Card)
Identity document of all UBO's
Identity document of at least 2 controlling Partners
Identity document of Authorized Signatory
Once you’ve completed the KYC, then we should share the credentials with you discreetly
Which counterparty we will be facing?
The onboarding of all international clients for DMA will happen with our Costa Rica entity. We shall share the details of the entity in the internal emails.
What all services do I get along with the DMA?
