Night Before Tour - Sun Sep 19th

Back room is reserved between 5-8 PM. Feel free to show up at any time.
Will have pizzas for the group + a few rounds of beers included.
Can walk (1.4 miles) or order taxi/Uber from hotel lobby.
Brewery closes at 8 PM but Zero Gravity Brewing is across the street and closes at 9 PM.

Day 1 - Burlington Warm Up Ride - Mon Sep 20th

The hotel is currently doing an a la carte “grab and go” breakfast option. You can charge a meal to your room.

🚲 Group meeting time: 10 AM at North Star Sports, 100 Main St, Burlington, VT
7 minute walk from our hotel.
Arrive ready to cycle, no need to bring your luggage as we are at the same hotel for 2 nights.
Tools available if you are bringing your own pedals.
Helmets, locks, lights, panniers available from bike shop. We were told there may not be enough panniers for everyone to have a pair, but at least one each will be available for each bike.

Since it is so close to Switchback, anyone who wants to check out Zero Gravity is welcome to do so. All of their seating is first come, first serve. Otherwise the rest of us can head back to the hotel.

. They offer four person “Family Taco” boxes with add-ons (chips, guac, pico, rice, beans, meats, veggies, tortillas, etc). We really enjoyed the meal last week and the servings were generous! It is $20 person. Evan will pick it up in the van. Let us know in the AM if you are in or out.

We have secured a reservation in their lawn area for our entire group! They have a max 90 minute limit for guests.
And if you were wondering, yes, there is a big Hill waiting for us to get up to Hill Farmstead.

Make sure to take time to walk the trail down to the lake. The water is perfect for a dip.

- Hotel kitchen is closed on Wednesdays but they have agreed to cater a private dining experience for us! $40 per person will get you a choice of two pasta options (1 meat / 1 veggies - hand rolled) plus a salad and homemade bread) a glass of beer or wine included. (gratuity included).

-The hotel bar will be open from 6:45 to 8:30 PM. Your first beer is included in the price of your dinner. Elsa and Chad will be working the bar. It will be a good night for a bottle share afterwards as there isn’t a lot else to do outside of hotel/lake grounds.

Day 4 - Greensboro to Montpelier - Thu Sep 23rd

- The closest town with restaurants is Waterbury which is a 4 mile, ~20 minute ride. Anyone is welcome to ride or taxi into town if they prefer to eat out. I would also suggest getting takeout food / beers in order to spend more time enjoying the property at the B&B. Duane and Leah, owners of the B&B suggested the following places which have takeout:

Day 7 - Duxbury to Middlebury - Sun Sep 26th

It’s 1.5 mile walk through the University of Vermont to the hotel.
Our hotel also has a local shuttle service, I will inquire about a pickup
