Day 1 - Burlington Warm Up Ride - Mon Sep 13th
🥞 Breakfast:
The hotel is currently doing an a la carte “grab and go” breakfast option. Starts at 7 AM. You can charge a meal + coffee / tea to your room.

🚲 Group meeting time: 10 AM at North Star Sports, 100 Main St, Burlington, VT
7 minute walk from our hotel.
Arrive ready to cycle, no need to bring your luggage as we are at the same hotel for 2 nights.
Tools available if you are bringing your own pedals
Helmets, locks, lights, panniers available from bike shop. We were told there may not be enough panniers for everyone to have a pair, but at least one each will be available for each bike.

Since it is so close to Switchback, anyone who wants to check out Zero Gravity is welcome to do so. All of their seating is first come, first serve. Otherwise the rest of us can head back to the hotel.

- The hotel’s restaurant is unable to provide dinner for us due to a staffing shortage. Please let me know in the morning which of the options you prefer from below.

- We can order takeout from Ranch Camp. They have a fun menu with lots of meat, vegan, and GF options. I might suggest the “Family Taco” box for those that want to share / try different items:

- Ride into town for in person dining. (1.5 - 3 miles)

We have secured a reservation in their lawn area for our entire group! They have a max 90 minute limit for guests.
And if you were wondering, yes, there is a big Hill waiting for us to get up to Hill Farmstead.

- Hotel kitchen is closed on Wednesdays but they have agreed to cater a private dining experience for us! $40 per person will get you a choice of two pasta options (1 meat / 1 veggies - hand rolled) plus a salad and homemade bread) a glass of beer or wine included. (gratuity included). They will also open the bar just for us before dinner so we can try a few additional beers. There aren’t any other restaurant options close by.
